"The TSX implemented its new Quantum Order Entry Gateway in January and completed the first phase of its equity enterprise expansion project in April. The exchange sees its focus as competing internationally, not just with its ATS rivals, and sees the advances it is making as fueled by customer demands, also not by its competition with ATSs, according to Robert Fotheringham, Senior Vice President of Equities Trading at TMX Group."
